 | Q: Why does the League need sponsors? |

A: The actual real cost per player to the League is $81. In
an effort to allow as many girls to play as possible we work very hard to
keep registration fees down. We charge $65.00 for one player. Families
with more than one player pay $105 for two, and $115 for three or more.
Funds from sponsors help to offset the shortfall.

| Q: What makes up the actual real cost per player? |

A: The actual real cost per player is comprised of many
elements including Equipment (including game balls, bases, catcher’s
equipment and batting helmets), Field Usage, Umpires, Insurance, Awards,
Uniforms, Administrative Costs (including postage and printing to send
annual registration packets), and Advertising Costs

| Q: Does the individual team receive any of the money provided by their
sponsor? |

A: Not directly. However, starting this season, the League
is offering incentives to teams who bring sponsors to the League. These
incentives are based on the number of sponsors each team brings, and include
free nicknames printed on the back of the uniform shirts, free socks,
chances to win a gift card for Dick’s Sporting Goods, and a pizza party for
the team.

| Q: Is the sponsorship donation tax deductible? |

A: The Prince William Lassie League is recognized by the
Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(7) nonprofit organization. A tax
attorney or accountant should be consulted to determine the tax benefits of
being a sponsor.

| Q: How much does it cost to be a team sponsor? |
|
| |
A: The fee to sponsor a team is $250.00.
|
| Q: How are team sponsors recognized? |
|

A: The name of the sponsor is printed on every team shirt,
is included on the team banner that is displayed at all games, is listed on
our website, and is included in League correspondence. Team sponsors also
receive a plaque at the end of the season with a team picture that may be
displayed.

| Q: Are other sponsorship opportunities available? |
|
| |
A: Yes, League sponsorships are available. There is no
minimum dollar amount required in order to be a League sponsor.
